Detailed NarrativeOne month after the Bernhart resolution, Starfall holds its first Tournament of Stars. Mayor Henderson reports 75 gp guard/ranger salary costs. Wibble has secured passage to Tinkersville for whenever the party wishes to go. Grant Taver reports tournament security was excellent until the end when five guards were lost to a 'demonic force' — the party dismisses the concern, noting that if the gods determine it's time to die, they're dead. Grant is discovered to be skimming money from the budget. Celia Burns reports that 'A Place to Bet' opens alongside the tournament and drives regional betting on all events. Notable champions attend: Lord Modus (the Half-Ogre Paladin of Rayne), Thomas Hoss (back for the event), Anton Galund (competing in melee), Grakar the Bull (also melee), Bethany Fey (tournament sponsor), Alam Sildwell (melee and archery), and Puppet (agility course). Entertainment includes Racheal Glass on lute and The Juggling Stooge and The Traveller as additional performers. Lord Modus and Bethany Fey visibly do not get along. The session ends with a shattering prophetic vision: the entire western continent in flames, rotting to undeath, undead spilling from Trayalon to overwhelm the world.
