Detailed NarrativeAfter debriefing with Wibble on the Tinkersville events, the party learns that refugees are streaming west from Wickhample as the orc armies of Warstones (Gorefist) and Bloodmound (Grakar) clash daily along the Rush river banks. All farms in the area have been raided and burned. Harlow Stormmaster has been cut off and isolated in Persdon. Reeves, the self-styled Embermage of Wickhample, has established a defensive perimeter on the eastern bank of the city using his mastery over 'the Ashes' — a powerful fire relic — to repeatedly drive off orc incursions. The party travels north and engages in battle. They destroy both orc advanced raiding parties and confront Embermage Reeves directly. Reeves is formidable — he has found the Ashes, making him a force of nature — but the party kills him. Back in Starfall: YukYuk expands his labs and begins recruiting students with a minimum age of 14, establishes a technical school, and pivots toward mining bots and production. Griva possesses the Ashes after Reeves' defeat. The coliseum construction begins under Clarissa Tomes.
