Detailed NarrativeStarfall's administration advances: the economy continues improving with +40 gp/cycle. YukYuk's kill bots are demoed with deployment surveys to eastern farms. The Statue of Loyd is under construction. Clarissa Tomes is dispatched to Cambridgexe to expand the Church of Loyd. Grant Taver has a lead on a contact who could disrupt Gatester's leadership. The party travels to Tarton. Bethany Fey is annoyed that Clarissa has switched loyalty to Loyd, and furious about the Gatester trade embargo. She has no military strength (Tarton's population diminished by constant fighting) but she'd gladly see Gatester's leaders dead. She has ties to the elves and recently hosted an elvish envoy, and has been in contact with both the Shadow Cabal and Faust to topple Gatester. The party also encounters Faust — calm but edgy from Hype abuse. He acknowledges contracts with the party's names have crossed his desk. He would assassinate any Gatester leader for 2,000 gp per target, payment through Celia Burns. Perception DC 30 confirms he killed Thorngay's rulers; DC 35 reveals he's also in negotiations with Gatester to kill the Starfall council.
