Detailed NarrativeThe orc civil war between Gorefist's Warstones and Grakar's Bloodmound has been raging all along the Rush river, pushing battle lines west where Starfall's battle bots patrol. Gorefist wins decisively. Harlow Stormmaster, cut off and surrounded by Gorefist's forces, is forced to turn over her relic research and work for Gorefist as his prisoner. Grakar's people are nearly annihilated and he sends an envoy to Starfall asking for sanctuary, stating Gorefist has sworn a blood oath to track him down. Gorefist's emphasis is on wiping out the Bloodmound orcs and Grakkar and claiming his relic. If opposed he will vow to destroy Starfall and all allies. Starfall's economy has grown substantially: Gatester is now a province (+100 gp), YukYuk's mining bots are hollowing out deeper dwarf tunnels, and Cody James' lab is online. Finea's 'Voice of the Nameless' visits Starfall to deliver a formal statement: Finea has no interest in living lands, only undeath; her domain expands naturally as living people die; she doesn't need assistance and doesn't seek territory from the living. Anton Galund, worrying about the undead kingdom to his north, sends a message and agrees to become Starfall's eastern general. Celia Burns mentions visitors from outside the western lands (Thomas and Harvey) with information of interest. Drakarion appears and acknowledges he will likely not survive the coming conflicts. The WARDS from the GRE continue reporting to the GRE through A Place to Bet contacts.
SummaryThe orc civil war reaches its conclusion as Gorefist defeats Grakar. Gorefist takes Harlow Stormmaster prisoner and forces her to turn over her relic research. Grakar's people are nearly annihilated and he sends an envoy to Starfall seeking sanctuary. Finea sends her own emissary reassuring Starfall she has no designs on the living. Gatester is officially absorbed as a province of Starfall. Anton Galund agrees to become Starfall's eastern general. Drakarion foresees he will likely not survive the coming conflicts. Sessions 23-24.
