Showed the party a rune crystal rod with Helmar's maker's mark — evidence Tray used Hesh technology to win battles. Confirmed dead by ch-05; cause of death unknown. Had an animal companion and a star tube showing visions of ancient Hesh. Fairbreeze village (named for his family) was later sacked by Swiftwater — its library burned, a significant loss of Hesh knowledge. His mother Yolich Fairbreeze survived and swore a blood oath against the Swiftwater and Gallund family lines; she is a central antagonist of the Kingdoms and Clouds campaign (h-149 to h-153).
