Courtland Resta

Courtland Resta is a proud man, brought up under the House Resta banner alongside his mentor and cousin, Pendragon Resta. During the River Lords conflict that saw Pendragon fall from grace, and then rise from the ashes to assume the head of the house, Cortland served under him as a commander, confidant, and friend. In the end, when Pendragon was forced to choose to turn against his own brothers and bring his house to ruin, or surrender his lands to the Gallund River Empire, Cortland was left as a warrior without a war. Through the years military service alongside Pendragon (who many believe is the finest warrior of the age), Cortland was able to hone both his skills in combat and his pragmatic fanaticism for fighting the good fight.
