Rumored to be a mighty dragon, Onyx rules the northern island between the east and west continents, where he has created a planar vertex between his own plane and several others, including the material plane. Of all the gods whose planes touched Terek's at the time of Terek's Folly, Onyx was the only one to survive and re-bind his plane before collapse. He has taken over and completely subsumed the race of dwarves that lived on his island prior to his acquisition, bending their nature to his will and using their ancient foundries and innately magical volcano-powered forges to create new breeds of life in search of the perfect servants.
