Long feuding with the Redshields, the Freeriver house was drawn into the orbit of the rising Trayalon realm — Northfork was eventually governed for the Gallunds by Tray's brother Marcus. The house was devastated by the Honor Day attacks (secretly orchestrated by Tray), which killed Caivil's daughters.
